Engineering Possibilities in College (EPIC) is a one-week summer camp hosted by California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly San Luis Obispo) that introduces students in grades 6 through 11 to diverse fields of engineering through hands-on laboratories led by university professors and industry professionals. Participants design, build, and test their own engineering projects while also observing impressive Cal Poly student creations such as satellites, prosthetic hands, race cars, and concrete canoes. The program is an excellent opportunity for curious, motivated students who love building things and want to explore what a future in engineering could look like at the university level.
