The Santa Clara University Summer Engineering Seminar (SES) is a free, five-day residential pre-college program for high school sophomores and juniors interested in exploring engineering. Participants engage in hands-on workshops taught by engineering faculty and undergraduate students, covering disciplines such as bioengineering, civil and environmental engineering, and more. Now in its 37th year, SES is recognized as an Inspiring Program in STEM by INSIGHT Into Diversity magazine and is currently the only free residential pre-college engineering program in the nation. It is an exceptional opportunity for students to immerse themselves in engineering before committing to a college major.
