Pioneer Research Institute is a highly selective, fully accredited online research program offered through Pioneer Academics, giving high school students the opportunity to conduct undergraduate-level original research across 30+ disciplines. Students work directly with college faculty through group seminars and individual mentoring sessions, producing original research projects in fields ranging from neuroscience to philosophy. The program runs during a Spring-to-Summer Term (February to August) or a shorter Summer Term (June to August), and all work is subject to third-party academic oversight in partnership with Oberlin College.
