Stony Brook, NY6 weeks

The Simons Summer Research Program at Stony Brook University is a highly selective six-week research experience where high school students work directly alongside distinguished faculty mentors in science, mathematics, or engineering. Known as Simons Fellows, participants join active research teams and develop real laboratory techniques and skills over the course of the program, which runs from late June through early August. The experience offers students a rare and immersive look at life at a major research university, going far beyond what is possible in a typical classroom setting. It is one of the most competitive and rewarding summer opportunities available to high school students with a passion for STEM.
