The UK Youth Parliament is a nationwide civic engagement program where young people aged 11 to 18 are elected as Members of Youth Parliament (MYPs) to represent their peers and advocate for social change. Operating across more than 70% of UK constituencies, MYPs participate in debates, regional roundtable events, and national policy development on issues that matter most to young people. Members also lead campaigns and deliver educational sessions in schools, giving them hands-on experience in democratic leadership and public service. It is one of the most impactful opportunities available for young people who want to make a real difference in their communities and beyond.
