JCamp is a free, six-day residential journalism program offered by the Asian American Journalists Association for high school sophomores and juniors from across the country. Students learn from veteran journalists and media executives through workshops, hands-on training, and field trips covering topics like journalism ethics, cross-cultural communication, and diversity in media. Participants produce real multiplatform news packages published on JCamp Live, the program's official news site. It is a rare opportunity for aspiring journalists to gain professional-level training while connecting with a national community of culturally diverse peers.
