The Medical Student Experience is a five-day immersive program offered by CU Science Discovery for high school students in grades 10 through 12, designed to provide a realistic look into the medical field and healthcare careers. Participants engage in hands-on labs and demonstrations covering physical exams, anatomy, suturing, injections, casting, ultrasound, and other clinical procedures. Throughout the week, students interact directly with medical trainees and healthcare professionals, gaining exposure to a wide range of career paths in medicine. It is an exceptional opportunity for students serious about pursuing healthcare to experience the demands and rewards of the field firsthand.
