The Penn Medicine Summer Program is a four-week residential experience hosted by the University of Pennsylvania's Perelman School of Medicine, designed for rising juniors and seniors interested in pursuing medicine. Students live on campus and receive hands-on training modeled after a first-year medical school curriculum, including CPR, suturing, blood draws, biopsies, and observation of live or simulated surgeries. Instruction comes from over 20 Penn Medicine doctors and clinicians spanning multiple specialties, giving participants direct exposure to real medical practice.
