The National Ocean Sciences Bowl is a prestigious academic competition that challenges teams of high school students to master topics spanning ocean chemistry, biology, geology, physics, and policy. Approximately 2,000 students from 350 high schools compete annually across 15 regional tournaments held at universities and research institutions, with top teams advancing to the National Finals each May.
