The Oxford Institute for Interdisciplinary Research is a selective, Oxford-based program where high school students aged 13 to 18 complete original research projects under the one-on-one mentorship of Oxford-affiliated and globally leading university researchers. The program offers three fellowship tracks (Publication Fellowship, Accredited Fellowship, and Research Fellowship), each spanning 2 to 3 weeks with 10 to 15 hours of live academic sessions supplemented by guided independent study. Students produce substantial, sole-authored research under the direct guidance of experts in their chosen field. It is one of the most rigorous and globally accessible research opportunities available to high school students.
