The Lumiere Research Scholar Program is a rigorous summer research initiative founded by Harvard and Oxford researchers that pairs high school students with Ph.D. mentors from top universities around the world. Students work one-on-one with their mentors to conduct independent research in their chosen field, with the opportunity to produce publishable, college-level work. The program is designed for ambitious students who want to go beyond the classroom and develop genuine expertise in disciplines ranging from the sciences to the humanities. It is one of the most selective and academically serious research opportunities available to high school students.
