Bridges to Social Justice Academy is a three-week summer program offered by Georgetown University for high school students ages 15 and older, available in both residential and commuter formats. Grounded in the Social Change Model of Leadership, the program introduces students to multiple approaches for creating social change, including community-engaged research, organizing and activism, policy advocacy, and social entrepreneurship. Students engage through lectures, workshops, and site visits to organizations across Washington, DC, gaining hands-on exposure to the many pathways through which individuals can drive meaningful impact. It is a rigorous and immersive opportunity for students passionate about social justice to develop their leadership skills at one of the nation's most prestigious universities.
