Stockholm, SwedenAnnual competition

The Stockholm Junior Water Prize is an international competition where students aged 15 to 20 develop and submit original research projects addressing major water challenges facing the world. Held annually since 1997 during World Water Week in Stockholm, the competition draws tens of thousands of participants from around 40 countries each year. Students first compete in national competitions to earn a spot as their country's finalist, where they then present their research to an international jury of water experts for a chance to win the prestigious global award, presented by H.R.H. Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden. It is one of the most respected science competitions in the world for young researchers passionate about environmental sustainability and water issues.
