Future City is a national STEM competition organized by DiscoverE that challenges students in grades 6 through 12 to design innovative, sustainable cities of the future using the engineering design process. Teams spend approximately four months researching, planning, and building their city concepts around a real-world urban challenge, with this year's theme centered on fire-resilient city design. Competitors present their work at regional qualifying events, where top teams advance to the National Finals in Washington, D.C. It is an exceptional opportunity for students passionate about engineering, sustainability, and problem-solving to develop practical skills while exploring exciting career pathways in STEM fields.
