Harvard Model Congress (HMC) is a premier government simulation conference organized and staffed entirely by Harvard undergraduates, offering high school students an immersive experience in the political process. Participants engage in realistic simulations of legislative procedures, policy analysis, and diplomatic negotiation across five annual conferences held in locations including Boston, San Francisco, Asia, the Middle East, and Europe. Students develop a deep understanding of how government works while building skills in public speaking, critical thinking, and collaboration alongside peers from around the world. HMC is one of the most respected and globally accessible model government programs available to high school students.
