The Eve and Gene Black Summer Medical Career Program is a prestigious mentorship initiative founded in 1969 by the Los Angeles Pediatric Society to inspire high school students to pursue careers in the health professions. Through daily virtual and in-person sessions, participants engage with medical professionals across a wide range of specialties, including pediatricians, surgeons, nurses, pharmacists, dietitians, and therapists.
