Camp SOAR (Summer Opportunities in Aerospace Research) is a six-day summer program hosted by Texas A&M University's Department of Aerospace Engineering for rising high school juniors and seniors. Participants choose from four specialized tracks (aircraft, rotorcraft, space mission design, and space robotics) and engage in technical lectures from faculty, hands-on design projects, and tours of cutting-edge research facilities including hypersonic wind tunnels and robotics laboratories. The program offers an immersive introduction to real aerospace engineering research and teamwork in a university setting. Financial need-based scholarships are available, making this prestigious opportunity accessible to students from a wide range of backgrounds.
