Stanford Pre-Collegiate Summer Institutes is a two-week online summer enrichment program offered by Stanford University for students in grades 8 through 11. Participants choose one intensive course from over 75 offerings across disciplines including artificial intelligence, creative writing, engineering, mathematics, and philosophy, studying in small classes of around 16 students led by expert scholarly instructors. The program brings together intellectually curious students from approximately 50 states and more than 50 countries, creating a truly global academic community. It is one of the most selective and prestigious summer enrichment opportunities available to middle and high school students.
