The United States Marine Band Concerto Competition is a free annual national competition and scholarship opportunity open to high school woodwind, brass, and percussion players in grades 9 through 12. Applicants submit an unedited video recording of a solo performance from a provided repertoire list, and selected finalists are invited to perform in a public final round held in Washington, D.C. Finalists compete before a distinguished panel of judges that includes the Marine Band Director and guest adjudicators, with coaching provided by Marine Band members.
