The Build Up High School Internship is a paid, 8-week summer program offered by DPR Construction that gives students hands-on experience in the construction industry. Rising juniors, seniors, and recent graduates work 35 to 40 hours per week on active construction jobsites, supporting real construction management tasks like subcontractor coordination and document control under the guidance of dedicated mentor teams. The program is designed for students from families with incomes below 80% of the county's HUD Median Family Income, and transportation stipends are available to make participation accessible. It is a rare opportunity to gain professional experience and explore a career in construction management while earning a paycheck.
