The International Public Policy Forum (IPPF) is a global debate competition founded in 2001 and jointly administered by the Brewer Foundation and New York University, open to all high school students worldwide at no cost. Teams begin each October by submitting a 3,000-word essay on that year's public policy topic, with the top 64 teams advancing to a single-elimination written debate bracket. Finalists then compete in oral debate rounds, bringing together the strongest teams from across the globe. It is one of the most ambitious and internationally recognized policy debate competitions available to high school students.
