The King Conservation Science Scholars Program is a year-round extracurricular initiative offered by Brookfield Zoo Chicago for students in grades 9-12 who are passionate about conservation and animal science. Participants engage in STEAM-based coursework spanning natural science, sociology, communication, and community engagement, alongside hands-on workshops and immersive learning experiences. The program also develops public speaking and interpretive skills through real public engagement opportunities at one of the country's most renowned zoological institutions.
