L.A. Works is a nonprofit volunteer organization that has connected Los Angeles community members with meaningful service opportunities for over 35 years. High school students can participate in year-round volunteering across critical issue areas including climate action, housing insecurity, education equity, and food insecurity, with special monthly programs and week-long day camps designed with youth in mind. Volunteers are matched with local nonprofits and community organizations working to address the most pressing needs across the greater Los Angeles area. It is a fantastic opportunity for students to give back to their community, build real-world experience, and make a tangible difference in the lives of those around them.
