Big Sunday is a Los Angeles-based volunteer organization that connects high school students with meaningful community service opportunities across the greater LA area. Students can participate in a wide range of hands-on programs throughout the year, including weekly events like Sun Days (mosaic art projects), Food Fridays (food sorting and packing), and Accessible Wednesdays (adaptive service projects), as well as seasonal initiatives like Back to School Week and Books 'n Brunch. All volunteer opportunities are free and designed to support local nonprofits, schools, and individuals in need. Big Sunday is an excellent way for students to give back to their community, build lasting connections, and develop a genuine spirit of service.
