SHAD Canada is the country's longest-running STEAM and entrepreneurship program for high school students, founded in 1981 and delivered through partnerships with over 30 leading post-secondary institutions across the country. Each summer, students spend one immersive month engaging with real-world challenges in areas such as artificial intelligence, energy, and food security through hands-on, project-based learning. The program combines a rigorous STEAM curriculum with a strong focus on entrepreneurship, resilience, creativity, and leadership development. Financial support is widely available, with one in three students receiving assistance from a pool of $5 million in fee aid, making this prestigious and transformative experience accessible to motivated students across Canada.
