The Governor's School for the Arts (GSA) is a tuition-free, highly selective arts conservatory serving students in grades 8 through 11 from the Hampton Roads region of Virginia. Across six departments including Dance, Instrumental Music, Musical Theatre, Theater and Film, Visual Arts, and Vocal Music, students receive professional-level training alongside peers who share their passion and dedication. GSA students perform and exhibit in real theaters and galleries, with the school presenting over 50 productions and exhibitions each year. It is one of the most prestigious arts training opportunities available to young artists in Virginia.
