Sea|mester is a college-accredited study abroad and gap year program that takes high school graduates and older students on voyages across the Atlantic, Indian Ocean, Caribbean, and beyond. Participants sail aboard one of three vessels while earning college credits from the University of South Florida in marine sciences, seamanship, and leadership. Programs range from 20 to 90 days and combine rigorous academics with hands-on experiential learning, including sailing certifications and scuba diving. It is one of the most immersive and adventurous educational opportunities available to students pursuing a gap year or looking to get a head start on college credit.
