Deadline passed

The Science and Engineering Apprentice Program (SEAP) is a selective eight-week summer internship offered by the Office of Naval Research that places talented high school students in real research roles at Department of Defense laboratories across the country. Participants work directly alongside professional scientists and engineers at more than 25 Navy laboratories nationwide, gaining hands-on experience in STEM fields that goes far beyond anything available in a typical classroom. Students are paid a stipend of $4,000 for their first summer, making the program both an exceptional academic opportunity and a financially accessible one. SEAP is one of the most prestigious and competitive high school internship programs in the country, offering students a genuine glimpse into careers in science and engineering at the highest level.
