The Academy Introduction Mission (AIM) is a one-week summer program offered by the US Coast Guard Academy exclusively for high school students entering their senior year. Participants experience an intensive six-day immersion in Academy life, taking on early mornings, academic coursework, competitive activities, and leadership challenges designed to test their physical, mental, and spiritual capabilities. The program is available in three in-person sessions ($750) as well as a free virtual session, giving students across the country the opportunity to participate. AIM is one of the best ways for aspiring Coast Guard officers to determine whether the Academy is the right fit for them before they apply.
