Black Issues Forum is a free five-day residential summer program hosted by Colorado State University for rising high school seniors interested in exploring Black heritage and the contemporary issues facing African Diasporic communities. Participants live on the CSU campus in Fort Collins, Colorado, and engage in research projects, personal development workshops, and discussions led by CSU student mentors, faculty, and staff. Upon completing the program, students earn one free college credit hour and may become eligible for the Partnership Award scholarship to attend CSU. It is a rare opportunity for high school students to gain college experience, connect with a university community, and engage deeply with scholarship on the African Diaspora.
