The SciVet Summer Program is an immersive five-day residential experience at Colorado State University for high school students passionate about science and veterinary medicine. Students engage in hands-on laboratory work and field research across a wide range of disciplines, including wildlife research, equine assisted therapy, dendrochronology, native bee studies, and veterinary medicine exploration. Participants receive personal mentoring from experienced teachers, staff, and expert presenters throughout the program. The program runs June 22 to 26, 2026, costs $1,800 for residential students and $1,200 for commuters (with scholarships available), and is open to students who are at least 15 years old by June 1st.
