MultipleAnnual competition

The U.S. Physics Team is a national competition sponsored by the American Association of Physics Teachers (AAPT) and the American Institute of Physics (AIP) that selects top high school students to represent the United States at the International Physics Olympiad. Students begin by taking the F=ma exam, with top scorers advancing through a series of increasingly rigorous qualifying rounds. The final team of five students travels abroad to compete against the strongest young physicists from nations around the world. It is one of the most elite and challenging academic competitions available to high school students with a passion for physics.
