The UC Berkeley Business Academy for Youth, often called B-BAY, is a selective pre college business and entrepreneurship program hosted by the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. Designed for middle and high school students, the program provides an immersive introduction to business through college level coursework and hands on, team based projects. Students learn core concepts such as marketing, finance, and operations while working collaboratively to research, develop, and pitch their own startup ideas. Guided by faculty, entrepreneurs, and mentors, participants build skills in critical thinking, leadership, and communication, while gaining exposure to real world business challenges and innovation. The program emphasizes experiential learning and entrepreneurship, giving students a glimpse into both college academics and future careers as business leaders and founders.
