Carnegie Hall Weill Music Institute

New York, NYSummer

The National Youth Orchestra of the United States of America, often called NYO USA, is a highly selective summer program that brings together some of the most talented young musicians from across the country to perform at an elite level. Organized by Carnegie Hall, the program selects students ages sixteen to nineteen through a competitive audition process and provides them with a multi week training residency led by professional orchestra musicians and world class guest artists. Participants rehearse intensively, develop advanced musical skills, and collaborate as a full symphony orchestra before performing at major venues and embarking on an international concert tour. The program is fully funded for all students and emphasizes artistic excellence, collaboration, and cultural exchange, with participants serving as musical ambassadors for the United States on the global stage.
