Between the Lines is a two-week residential creative writing and cultural exchange program hosted by the University of Iowa's International Writing Program for high school students aged 15 to 18. Each summer in Iowa City, a select group of U.S. and international students come together to participate in intensive daily writing workshops, world literature seminars, and literary readings with visiting authors. The program offers a rare opportunity to develop your craft alongside talented peers from around the world while living as a community on a major university campus. It is one of the most distinctive and immersive writing experiences available to high school students.
