RISD Pre-College is an immersive five to six week summer program offered by Rhode Island School of Design, one of the most prestigious art and design schools in the world, for high school students passionate about art and design. Students follow a college-level curriculum taught by accomplished teaching artists, engaging in day-long studio classes, museum visits, critiques, and hands-on projects that mirror the RISD first-year experience. The program is available in an on-campus residential or commuter format as well as a virtual online option, making it accessible to students across the country. It is an exceptional opportunity for aspiring artists and designers to develop their skills, build a portfolio, and experience life at a world-class creative institution.
