Summer Physics Camp is a free, two-week residential and commuter STEM program hosted by Los Alamos National Laboratory in partnership with Sandia National Laboratories, open to high school students from New Mexico, New Mexico tribal communities, and East Hawaii Island. Participants explore physics, engineering, bioengineering, chemistry, computer programming, and cybersecurity through hands-on activities alongside leading STEM professionals. The 2026 program theme, "Invisible Worlds: Physics Beyond What Our Eyes Can See," gives students a unique lens through which to investigate the science that shapes our world. It is an exceptional opportunity for aspiring scientists and engineers to gain real-world research experience at one of the nation's most renowned national laboratories, completely free of charge.
