KISS Institute for Practical Robotics

MultipleAnnual competition with 7-9 week build period

Botball is a national team-based robotics competition organized by the KISS Institute for Practical Robotics, open to students in grades 6 through 12. Over a 7 to 9 week build season, teams design, build, and program fully autonomous robots using real engineering and coding skills grounded in Next Generation Science Standards and Common Core Math. Students receive hands-on training through educator workshops before putting their creations to the test at regional and national tournaments. It is an exceptional opportunity for aspiring engineers and programmers to develop practical technical skills in a competitive, collaborative environment.
