RoboCup is an international robotics competition where students design, build, and program autonomous robots to compete in challenges ranging from soccer matches to search and rescue operations. Established in 1997 by the RoboCup Federation, the competition features multiple leagues including RoboCupSoccer, RoboCupRescue, RoboCup@Home, and RoboCupJunior, the last of which is tailored specifically for younger participants. Teams from countries around the world compete at the annual RoboCup World Championship, pushing the boundaries of artificial intelligence and autonomous robotics.
