The Human Rights Campaign Youth Ambassadors Program is a national advocacy initiative that trains LGBTQ+ youth and allies to become effective leaders and changemakers in their communities. Through in-person and virtual training sessions led by the Human Rights Campaign's Strategic Outreach and Training team, participants develop skills in storytelling, public advocacy, and legislative engagement. Ambassadors learn to harness the power of personal narrative to shift public understanding and address systemic injustice at the local, state, and national level. It is a meaningful opportunity for students who are passionate about equity and civil rights to develop real leadership skills and make a tangible impact.
