Summer Venture in Business (SVB) is a six-day pre-college summer academy hosted by the University of Kansas School of Business for rising 11th and 12th graders interested in pursuing business. Participants engage in academic sessions led by KU faculty, industry tours with corporate sponsors, and workshops and panels with current college students. The program prioritizes first-generation college students and those from Title I and rural schools, with a $50 participation fee and need-based waivers available. SVB is a compelling opportunity for motivated students to experience college-level business education and build connections with industry professionals.
