Albany Park Theater Project (APTP) is a Chicago-based youth theater organization that empowers high school students to create and perform original, socially conscious productions rooted in real community stories. Students collaborate on every aspect of the theatrical process, from scriptwriting and rehearsal to full-scale performance, exploring themes of immigration, identity, and social justice. The program is especially welcoming to students from immigrant and underrepresented communities in the Albany Park neighborhood. APTP offers a powerful opportunity for young people to develop their artistic voices while making meaningful contributions to their community through theater.
