Business Is Global is a two-week summer program offered by the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University for rising high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors interested in business, language, and culture. Developed in partnership with IU's Hamilton Lugar School of Global and International Studies, the program introduces students to less commonly taught world languages including Arabic, Mandarin Chinese, Russian, Swahili, and Turkish alongside the cultures and business environments tied to each. Participants explore how language and cultural fluency shape international commerce, gaining foundational knowledge in global business strategy. It is a rare opportunity for high school students to engage seriously with both business education and world languages at a top-ranked university.
