Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and the Science of Smart Cities (ieSoSC) is a free, full-time summer program offered by NYU Tandon School of Engineering for NYC high school students in grades 9 through 11. Over four to five weeks, participants work on hands-on technology projects involving coding, microcontrollers, circuit deployment, and sensor integration, while also developing entrepreneurial skills in a rigorous, university-based environment. The program runs Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 4 PM, giving students an immersive experience that mirrors the intensity of real engineering and innovation work. ieSoSC is an exceptional opportunity for motivated students to build technical expertise and entrepreneurial thinking at one of the top engineering schools in the country.
