Museum of Arts and Design

New York City, NY6 weeks

Artslife is a highly selective paid summer internship program offered by the Museum of Arts and Design (MAD) for rising sophomores and juniors attending New York City public and charter high schools. Each year, only 10 interns are chosen to participate in the six-week program, where they create artwork alongside professional artists, design and lead peer-to-peer museum tours, and gain behind-the-scenes exposure to museum operations. Participants also explore potential careers in the arts, build career readiness skills, and visit cultural institutions across New York City. Interns earn $17 per hour, making Artslife one of the most rewarding opportunities available to young artists and aspiring museum professionals in New York City.
