Golden, CO1 week

The Summer Mines Engineering and Training (SUMMET) Program is a free, one-week residential experience hosted by Colorado School of Mines for rising high school seniors, with a special focus on first-generation college students. Participants take part in STEM coursework, hands-on projects, team-building activities, and social events designed to simulate real college life. The program is an excellent opportunity for students to build academic skills, explore engineering and science fields, and gain confidence before making the transition to college. Admission is competitive, and accepted students pay only a $50 confirmation fee to secure their spot.
