Yunasa West is a specialized 8-day summer sleep-away camp for gifted youth ages 10 to 15, hosted by the Institute for Educational Advancement at YMCA Camp Shady Brook in Deckers, Colorado. The program takes a whole-child approach, supporting campers' intellectual, social, emotional, spiritual, and physical development through a blend of traditional camp activities and expert-led workshops. Participants gain self-awareness, build meaningful connections with peers who share their experiences, and develop tools to navigate the unique challenges and joys of being gifted. Tuition of $2,025 covers housing, food, activity fees, and supplies, with an Early Bird Discount of $50 available.
