The Academy for Machine Learning is a one-week residential summer program hosted by the Department of Computer Science at the University of Texas at Austin, open to students in grades 10 to 12. Through hands-on projects and mentorship from UT faculty, participants use Python to train and test their own machine learning models while exploring the ethical and social impacts of artificial intelligence. The program runs three sessions in summer 2026, with one session designed for students who already have coding experience and two sessions welcoming all skill levels. At $2,100 per session, it is a selective and immersive opportunity for students serious about pursuing computer science and AI.
