The Bank of America Student Leaders® program is an eight-week, paid summer internship designed for high school juniors and seniors who are passionate about community service and leadership. Participants are placed in local nonprofit organizations, where they work 35 hours per week, gaining hands-on experience in civic engagement and nonprofit operations. The program culminates in a week-long, all-expenses-paid Student Leaders Summit in Washington, D.C., where students engage with peers, community leaders, and policymakers to discuss social issues and the role of nonprofits in addressing community needs. Applications typically open in October and close in January, with eligibility requirements including U.S. work authorization, good academic standing, and residency in an eligible location.
