The Congressional App Challenge is a nationwide competition that encourages middle and high school students to develop original software applications. Participants can compete individually or in teams of up to four, and are eligible if they reside or attend school in a participating congressional district. The challenge aims to foster creativity and interest in STEM fields, with winning apps displayed in the U.S. Capitol and featured on the House of Representatives' website. Additionally, winners are invited to attend the annual #HouseofCode event in Washington, D.C.
